From the time of the Reformation, St Antholin’s Church in the City of London was home to a lectureship in Puritan and Evangelical theology. The lectureship fell into abeyance in the nineteenth century but was revived in 1991, and an annual St Antholin’s lecture is now delivered.
2009 Lecture: Tuesday 13th October
The lecture will take place in the evening at High Leigh Conference Centre, Hoddesden, during the Reform Conference and light refreshments will be provided.
Andrew Atherstone's subject will be "Evangelical Mission and Anglican Church Order: Charles Simeon Reconsidered"
Printed copies of the lecture will be available on the day, and can be purchased on-line or from the Latimer Trust.
